Yesterday, Friday, which is the day we have our speech day.
Hahas.. that is serious a big event.
Well, i am in charge of prize table.
All councilors have their own duty.
Some of them take charge of Sec 1, Sec 2 ,Sec 3 ,Sec 4 and 5.
While some were doing their usher and doing the reception.
Anessa, Jaslyn and me were in charge of prize table.
All of us including the seniors were supposed to wear their blazer,council uniform and 'cock' shoes.
haha, all of us looked smart in wearing that. =D
i should have take a photo of myself. *Laugh out loud*
But i don't have camera. *Sigh*
By the way, at first i thought in charge of the prize table was very easy.
Well, i was wrong.
It was very very tiring?
As we are supposed to carry the table,chairs for the prize and file in the cert and the vouchers. Not only that,we have write down all the award recipients' names on the envelope so we can arrange and know which prizes we are going to give to.
On the actual day, we have to arrange to plague,the north star trophy,the scholarship, and cert,vouchers and many more.
finally, we arrange nicely and orderly.
And we started to became nervous as this is our first time.
While waiting for the prize giving,Ken [one of the councilor] came to us and report who and who is coming and not coming.
A lot of prize recipients not coming!!!
And we need to re-arrange every awards!
ARGHX! and that is a last minute time!
we are so in a rush..
and hoping that everything will go smoothly.
soon, the prize giving event starts.
we are so panic and nervous, and we still have to smile to the audience.
during the ceremony, i remembered we gave out the cert to the wrong person.
Well, i guess they will exchanged/re-arranged it by themselves after they got the cert.
And finally, my duty was done!!!
WOOTS!!
it was so warm standing on the stage.
Some more i was wearing the blazer. =.=
After prize giving,there are performances. ^.^
First, Choir, after that, dance followed by Wushu.
I remembered that one of the guy from Wushu, his sword accidentally fly out as he did not hold the sword properly.
Lucky that he did not hurt the VIP or we will sued by them. =X
Anyway, the performances were exciting. hahas.
Especially dance. xD
Dancers,you done a great job! you rocks,man! ;D
After everything, VIP,Parents,students, all went down to have their delicious buffet.
And we councilors are supposed to serve them! xD
hahas,some of my friends and i serve the drinks while the others serve the food.
After VIPs finished eating, we finally can enjoy the delicious food! x)
Soon,almost everyone excluding councilors, went back home.
We started to pack up everything.
Arrange the tables and chairs in the canteen.
It took us quite a long time as there are really a lot of tables and chairs to arrange.
And finally, we have finished our arranging!! YEAHS~!
Then there is a short debrief.
And we can go home le!!! YEAH!!
hahas, then next event we have to run is Sports Carnival!!
